The handcrafted barn at Rugged Horizon provides the quintessential Mission Mountain backdrop for your Montana wedding. Located in the heart of the Mission Valley, just 35 minutes north of Missoula and 35 minutes south of Polson, Rugged Horizon’s rolling meadows provide an unforgettable setting for your wedding ceremony, and the 3,000- square-foot barn is an idyllic spot for an unforgettable wedding reception.

The barn offers ample amenities in a country setting, including an old-world style of craftsmanship, built from locally-milled wood and heavy timber; huge barn doors that open up for dancing under the Big Sky; indoor restrooms; radiant floor heat; prep space for caterers that includes a double-basin sink, large refrigerator, counters and storage; French doors that open wide to enjoy the sunsets; romantic lighting; and plenty of room to dine and dance the night away.

The barn also includes a spacious, one-bedroom loft apartment. This private space is perfect for getting ready before you walk down the aisle. The loft includes a master bedroom with king bed; a complete kitchen with refrigerator, stove, sink and dishes/utensils; a bathroom with a clawfoot tub, shower and robes for pampering yourself; a living room/dining area with a couch that folds out into a queen bed to accommodate up to two extra guests; and two balconies for watching the sun as it sets on the Mission Mountains.
